JULIE ERVIK – BIOGRAPHY

 

Julie Ervik is a singer and vocal coach based in Oslo, Norway. She was born in Vancouver, Canada, where she lived for 9 years before she moved to Norway with her family.

In January 2015, Julie was headhunted to participate in the third season of "The Voice – Norges Beste Stemme", where she, with her version of Sia´s "Chandelier", had four mentors turn their chairs in hope of having her on their team, and earned praise for her ability to communicate and sing dynamically. 

Julie sings with radiance and power, and with her large voice and ability to tell stories through songs, she has been compared to the artist Adele numerous times.

June 1st 2015, Julie released her debut single, Last Love, written by the lead singer of Shiny Toy Guns, Carah Faye, and produced by Dsign Music.

In addition to singing, Julie works as both a physiotherapist and vocal coach, and is available for singing lessons, masterclasses, and preparation for auditions.
